Steven Frayne (born 17 December 1982 in Bradford) is an English magician who performs under the stage-name of Dynamo.^[2

Dynamo grew up on Bradford’s deprived Delph Hill Estate in the north of England. He first learned magic from his grandfather and developed it during trips to New Orleans. Wanting to innovate, Steven Frayne combined elements of dance and hip hop culture into his magic routines.^[3]Dynamo has Crohn’s disease.^[4][5]
